Though her time with BYF was short, Elizabeth made the most of every moment. Whether it was in practices, on road trips, or during tough matchups, she showed up ready to work and always gave her team everything she had. Her commitment and coachability made her a key part of our program that season.

Elizabeth wasn’t just about basketball — she was about building relationships, listening, learning, and making sure her presence was felt in positive, uplifting ways. Players like her remind us that impact isn’t measured by years — it’s measured by effort and heart.

🏛️ College: A Dual Sport Student

Toye continued her basketball career in college—first at Wisconsin for the 2015–16 season, then at Florida International University (FIU) as part of their 2017–18 roster. At FIU, she played as a 6’0″ forward, contributing off the bench and logging minutes in key matchups like the game versus Northern Illinois FIU AthleticsESPN.com. 🎓 Teacher Leader & Advocate
