Nike Spring Showdown NCAA Certified Event

The Nike Spring Showdown will feature over 200 amateur teams from across the country. Our event will have an economically impact the Village of Matteson and its surrounding townships. The Nike Spring Showdown was ran in Merrillville, Indiana for the past four years and outgrew the area.

This is a NCAA certified college exposure event where student athletes from the community and out of town will receive athletic scholarships. Past alumni from our events have been NBA players Anthony Davis  and soon to be NBA hopeful Jabari Parker.

“We are more than thrilled at the opportunity in hosting these future NCAA and NBA athletes that will be coming from every corner of the nation — Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Illinois, Iowa,  Indiana, Missouri, Nebraska, Minnesota,  Wisconsin, and Ohio,” said Mike Irvin, tournament organizer for TMT Sportz. Irvin continues, “Our event will bring in over 10,000 visitors to the Village of Matteson.

TMT Sportz, LLC is a sports company that was founded by partners Mike Irvin, Toi Baylor & Tai Streets. TMT Sportz will be hosting additional College Exposure Events in July.  We will be hosting exposure camps, coaches clinics and tournaments. The Chicago Slam on July 12-14 in Waukegan and the Chicago Jam back in Matteson on July 19-21, 2013.

The games will begin at 7:00pm on Friday, April 19. CT. Tickets to the Nike Spring Showdown on April 19-21, 2013. The games will be held at the following gymnasiums.
