Kyisha Hunt: From UIC Flames to Professional Volleyball

🏐 From UIC to France

Kyisha played for the University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC) women’s volleyball team, where she made significant contributions to the Flames. After her collegiate career, Kyisha took her talents internationally, signing a professional contract with Halluin Volley Métropole, a team based on the border of France and Belgium.

🌍 Embracing New Challenges

Transitioning from college to professional volleyball presented Kyisha with new challenges, including adapting to different playing styles and rules. However, her experience at UIC prepared her well for this leap. She noted that the transition felt natural, as she had already developed a strong work ethic and understanding of the game during her time with the Flames.

Kyisha’s journey exemplifies the impact of dedication, hard work, and the support of a strong athletic foundation. From her days at UIC to playing professionally in France, she continues to inspire young athletes, proving that with passion and perseverance, dreams can become reality.
