Cashay joined BYF Sports during her junior year of high school, instantly making an impact with her competitive fire and natural leadership. Her game was sharp, but what really stood out was her drive — not just to win, but to grow. It came as no surprise when she earned the opportunity to attend Howard University, one of the nation’s most prestigious HBCUs.
✨ Life, Reimagined
After some time at Howard, life took Cashay on a new path. She made the courageous decision to come back home and start a family — a move that required strength, sacrifice, and maturity beyond her years. But true to her spirit, she didn’t let her story end there.
Cashay remained committed to her education and passion for the game. She enrolled at Olive-Harvey College, determined to finish what she started.

Back on the court and stronger than ever, Cashay didn’t just return — she led. She helped guide Olive-Harvey College to its first NJCAA competition appearance, putting the program on the map and becoming a role model for young women balancing motherhood, education, and athletics.
Her presence on the court was commanding, and her leadership off the court was even more powerful. As a mother, student, and athlete, Cashay has rewritten what success can look like — and inspired everyone who’s witnessed her journey.
