Aniya Vaughns: A BYF Graduate Reaching New Heights at Southern Illinois University

At BYF Sports, our mission has always been about more than just sports—it’s about developing strong, focused, and driven individuals who carry those values into every chapter of their lives. Today, we are proud to celebrate one of our own: Aniya Vaughns, a dedicated student-athlete who has officially graduated from Southern Illinois University as a graduate student.

Aniya’s journey with BYF was marked by discipline, determination, and leadership. From her early years with us, it was clear that Aniya had something special—an unstoppable mindset that would carry her far beyond the court or the classroom. And she did just that.

After HS, we assisted with transitioning her to Harford Community College. After completing her undergraduate studies, Aniya went on to pursue her graduate degree at SIU, a major milestone that reflects both her academic excellence and personal growth. Balancing the demands of graduate school requires resilience and focus—traits Aniya has always embodied since her time with BYF.

Her success is not just her own—it’s a reflection of every coach, teammate, mentor, and family member who has supported her along the way. But most importantly, it’s a testament to Aniya’s unwavering belief in herself and her future.
