Our BYF teams were picked up in a party bus, full of excitement, music, and glowing smiles as they rode into downtown Chicago for a day built just for them. Their first stop? The Nike Chicago store, where Jewel’s signature shoe was front and center.
Seeing one of our own — a strong Black woman athlete — featured and celebrated at that level was incredibly powerful for our girls. It wasn’t just about sneakers. It was about representation, excellence, and possibility.

But Jewel didn’t stop there. She carved out time during her All-Star weekend to give the BYF girls an exclusive training session — pushing them on the court, sharing tips, and encouraging them to chase greatness with the same intensity she brings to every game.
