At BYF Sports, we measure success not only by wins and stats but by the growth of our athletes as students, leaders, and people. One of the brightest examples of that growth is Jaida McCloud — a fierce competitor, dedicated scholar, and proud alumna of our program.

Jaida joined BYF Sports in 10th grade, and from day one, she showed us that she was built differently. Her talent on the court was matched only by her focus and maturity off it. She was a player who led by example — showing up early, putting in the work, and pushing herself and her teammates to be better every day.

Her drive carried her to the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where she not only had an impressive collegiate basketball career, but also crushed it academically. Jaida earned both her Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) degrees — a remarkable achievement that speaks volumes about her work ethic and determination.
